She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Irene Shipman and Stephen Chaffee; her husband Vincent N. Brescia; her daughter Shari Jo Brescia; her sisters, Mary C. Devitt and Nanci Sprague; and her niece Mary "Mia" Frances Devitt.

She is survived by: her children, Stacy Brescia Spreer (Jeffrey Spreer) of Montgomery, NY and L. Stephen Brescia (Joan Christiano) of Montgomery, NY; her grandsons, Vincent M. Brescia and Nicholas A. Brescia; her nieces and nephews, Megan Rose, Kristyn Sprague Pavich, Marc Devitt, Mckew Devitt and F. Edward Devitt II; and her pet Paris.
