He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Burns and June A. Arnold Burns; and his wife Judith Lee Burns. He is survived by: his daughters, Judy Caston of Montgomery and Amy Bornander of Montgomery; his grandchildren, Scotty, Jimmy, Jeff (Caston), Danny, Amanda and Joey (Bornander); his great grandchildren, Savannah and John; and his siblings, Bonnie Rositer of Rhode Island and Timothy Burns of Rhode Island. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
