It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Esther Madigan (Melrose, New York), born in Richford, Vermont, who passed away on March 3, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eli Winfield and Lucille Hamel Archambault (Lamell); her husband Edward K. Madigan; and her siblings, John, Lawrence, Bernard, James, Richard, Gerald, Bruce, Henrietta, Mary, Madeline, Rita and Cecile (Sister Archambault).
She is survived by: her children, Rosemary Joslin (Mike) of Clifton Park, Mike Madigan (Ginny) of Troy, Tess Garner (late Dennis) of Middleburgh, Pat Madigan (Cindy) of Schaghticoke, Ken Madigan (Lisa) of Melrose and Kevin Madigan (Betty) of Melrose; and her grandchildren, Stephen, Jeffrey Joslin, Erin Carknard (Evan), Teddy, Andy, Joe, Richie, Tom, Clare and Henry Madigan.
Of her fourteen siblings, two are surviving: Melbourne (Felicia) Archambault of Ellington, CT and Theresa Archambault who has served in the Daughters of the Charity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus for over 70 years as Sister Mary Monica, as well as many nieces and nephews.
