He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Dotts and Martha S. Dotts (Kling); his sister Virginia Powell (Thomas); and his sisters-in-law, Betty Zgirbar (Bernard) and Eileen Eddy (Jack).
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Dotts of Medina; his son William T. Dotts, Jr. (Kristine Martin) of Rochester; his grandsons, Ethan W. and Nathaniel J. Dotts; his sister Jeanne Jolly (Robert); and his brother-in-law Theodore Barrett (Janice). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
