She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Harrington and Bessie Ellen Baird Harrington; and her spouse Justice H. Varwig. She is survived by: her children, Justice D. Varwig of Maybrook, NY and Debra L. Murray (John) of Schenectady, NY; her siblings, Shirley Hofheinz of Middletown, NY and Blaine Harrington of Maybrook, NY; and her grandchildren, Alicia Murray of Schenectady, NY, Sean Murray (Chelsea) of Schenectady, NY and Justin Murray of Schenectady, NY. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in Merida's memory to the First Presbyterian Church of Hamptonburgh or the animal charity/cause of one's choosing.
