She was predeceased by: her parents, Sterling Scruton and Ordetta Mae Sharpe (Klock); and her brother-in-law Richard Sitterly. She is survived by: her husband Fred of Mary's Catholic Church; her children, Valerie Ann Scott (Frank) of Norfolk and Mark Wright of Heuvelton; her grandsons, Anthony William Scott and Corey Nicholas Wright; her great grandchild Mason Wright; and her siblings, Alice Grant (Donald) of Syracuse, Judy Sitterly (Colton), Martha Billings (Terry) of Canton, Synthia Carroll (David) of Canton, William Sharpe (Melody) of Waddington and David Sharpe (Rhonda) of Potsdam. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial donations may be made in Roberta's memory to the Potsdam Humane Society.
