He was predeceased by: his brother Sean Murphy; and his parents, John I. Murphy and Capitola K. Murphy. He is survived by: his brother Denis Kean Murphy; his niece Meghan Murphy Batten (Craig Batten); his sister Tola Murphy-Baran (John Baran); and his nephews, Sean Murphy Baran (Jesmey Peng) and Luke Murphy Baran (Kristin Steiner). He is also survived by daughter, plus many cousins and dear friends.
