He is survived by: his spouse Gertraud "Trudy" Schoenecker; his son Peter George Malunat (Lodi) of The Woodlands, TX.; his granddaughter Pamela Marie Hurley (William) of Austin, TX.; and his great grandchildren, Julian Peter Hurley, Isaac Augustus Chapman and Lincoln Tiberius Hurley.
