He was predeceased by: his parents, Vilas Prue and Mayfred Prue (Thomas); his wife Dorothy M. Ryan; his brother Donald Prue; his parents-in-law, John and Emma Ryan; and his siblings-in-law, Donald and Jean Ryan.
He is survived by: his sons, Craig Prue (JoyLynn) of Malone, Brent Prue (Lisa) of Malone, Scott Prue (Cathy) of Malone and Hal Prue (Andrea O'Keefe) of Owls Head; his brother Rodger Prue (Debbie) of Malone; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Prue of Moira, Stanley and Shirley Bilow of Malone. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
