He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Boyea and Anna Boyea (Fleury); his children, Lory Macknik of Fayetteville, NY, Kary Prue (Frank) of Malone, NY, Ned Boyea of Hollywood, FL and Joel Boyea (Jennifer) of Vacaville, CA.; his sister Kathleen; his brother-in-law Jerome "Buster" Samburgh; and his son-in-law Tim Macknik.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Butler; his daughters, Beth Anne Boyea of Syracuse, NY and Molly Liddell (Peter) of Fayetteville, NY; and his sisters, Carol Samburgh of Paul Smiths, NY and Kay Grenville (Ted) of Malone, NY. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and two great granddaughters.
