He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Jones and Margery Jones (Mills); his children, Richard Jones and Carrie Lynn Spaulding; and his siblings, David, Billy, Jimmy Jones, Helen Goodman, Anna Waterhouse, Kate O'Neill and Mary Duquette.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lyng; his daughter Lori Jones of Malone; his grandsons, Conner Allen of Malone and Adam Oropallo of Chateaugay Lake; and his siblings, Judy Earl, Jean Fall, Diane Podwirny (Walt), Nancy Koti (Frank), Frank Jones (Cindy), Bobby Jones, Emma Tolosky and Peggy Beckman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with current health restrictions, those in attendance are asked to observe the use of face coverings and social distancing.
