He was predeceased by: his parents, Priscilla LeClair and Darwin LaCombe; his wife Josephine Maggioli; and his siblings, Kenneth LaCombe, Gerald Barney, George "Pie" Barney, Geraldine Butzer, Robert LaCombe, Sr. and Josephine.
He is survived by: his daughter Dawn Soulieres; and his sister Charlene LaCombe Andrews of Malone. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
