He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ruth Schickel, Agnes Anderson (Ken), Norbert Schickel (Marnie) and William Schickel (Mary). He is survived by: his wife Deanna; his children, Hugh Schickel (Stacey Whiteside) of Denver, CO, Michelle Perry of Wynnewood, OK, Jeff Schickel of Smithfield, NC, Joe Schickel (Natalie) of Summit, NJ and Deanna Strong (Nate) of Spencerville, IN; his grandchildren, Marin, Ruger (Geneva Perry), Juliana Schickel (Gavin Carr), Cecelia (Anabel Renz) and Adrienne Harrison; his great grandchild Ian Campbell; and his siblings, Jack Schickel (Betty) of Sun City, AZ, Lou Schickel (Lenore), Jerry Schickel (Irene) of Signal Mountain, TN and Marie Rottshafer of Oregon.
Donations may be made in his memory to Hospice of the North Country or St Judes Children's Hospital.
