He was predeceased by: his father John Tierney. He is survived by: his wife Katherine J. Kilkenny; his children, Thomas P. Tierney Jr. (Enda Cusack) of Stamford, CT and Tara (Christopher Lubbers) of Garrison, NY.; his grandchildren, Camryn and Jackson; and his brothers, John Tierney (Diane) and James Tierney (Mary).
