He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Sawyer and Clarington Sawyer; and his sisters, Minnie McDonald, Della Pike and Helen Sharlow.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Sawyer; his children, Leo Sawyer Jr., Tracy Moulton (Chuck Carrow), Evon Swinyer (Chad), Tina Sawyer (Eric Todd), Melinda Griffin (Harvey), Kimberly Sawyer (Travis Charleson) and Katie Sawyer; and his siblings, Clarington Sawyer Jr. and Wynona Vancor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
