He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Moriarty and Kathleen Hayes Moriarty; and his siblings, John Moriarty (Sean), Margaret Kirwan (Peggy), Kathleen Ryan, Hannah P. Moriarty, Hanorah Molan (Nora), Mary Anne Moriarty (Marie), Nellie Teresa Moriarty, Edward Moriarty (Ned) and Nellie Teresa O'Brien.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Theresa Moriarty; his children, Lawrence E. Moriarty (Jennifer), Patrick Moriarty (Dana), Kathleen Moriarty and Maureen Orosz (Jeffrey); and his grandchildren, Brett Moriarty, Reese Moriarty, Finella Moriarty, Machara Moriarty, Hannah Orosz, Emma Orosz, Jude Orosz, Lawrence Moriarty (Jude) and Mary Orosz. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
