He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John McDougall and Mary McDougall; his wife Janet; his children, Alan (Debbie), Pamela and Laurie Murchison (Ben); his grandchildren, Jonathan, Justin, Alanna, Janet, Ian and James; and his sisters, Una Soracca and Aileen Kirk.
