He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Mihalyi and Mildred Mihalyi (Betz); and his brother Louis L. Mihalyi. He is survived by: his wife Helen Marie Putz; his children, David R. Mihalyi of Lowville, Wayne D. Mihalyi (Jackie) of Lowville, Barbara J. Puccia (Tom) of Watertown and Jodelle M. "Jody" Widrick (Gary) of Rockville, MD; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Justin, Emily, Molly and Christopher; his great grandchildren, Seth, Leah and Clyde; and his sister-in-law Bernice Mihalyi. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
