He was predeceased by: his father James Lyle Ward; and his sister-in-law Patricia Ward. He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Ward (Pam Hill) of Lowville and Christina; his brother-in-law Franklin Merry of Glenfield; and his mother Phyllis Louise Smith Ward of Glenfield. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
