He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Anne and Mary Anne. He is survived by: his daughters, Jamie Allaire Garland and Jessica Allaire; his grandchildren, Kassidy Garland, Carson Garland, John Pogorzelski and Emma Pogorzelski; and his siblings, Francis (Diane), Mary Kay Carone (Joe), Coleen Hass (Rich), Thomas, Christine Wilson (Randy), Gerard (Barbara), Patrick (Audrey) and Eileen Brophy (Marty). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home (3863 Merrick Rd, Seaford, NY 11783). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Rose of Lima RC Church (2 Bayview Ave, Massapequa, NY 11758).
