He was predeceased by: his father Augustus Salvie; his daughter Dawn Salvie; his sister Marie Anderson; and his brothers-in-law, Raymond Anderson, Douglas Cross, Donald Cross, Edwin Cross, Jr. and Ray.

He is survived by: his mother Olga Salvie (Hasselbaum); his wife Marilyn Salvie (Cross); his children, Scott Salvie, Jeff Salvie (Mindy Chabot), Dan Salvie, Ellen Salvie (John Paestella) and Evonne Pacini (David); his grandchildren, Chloe Floyd (Gray) and Joseph Salvie-Lombardo; his great grandchildren, Henry Floyd and Josephine Floyd; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Kick and Robert Kick, Sr.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Contributions may be made to the Signal 30 Benefit Fund, a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization.
