She was predeceased by: her parent Mariangela Lostumbo (Gigliotti); her husband Joseph Basla; her daughter-in-law Barbara Basla (Wichmann); her father Joseph Lostumbo; and her siblings-in-law, Frank, Domenica Basla (Salvagno) and John Ianzito.
She is survived by: her children, Melanie Elphand (Phil), Mark Basla (Jeanne), Joseph Basla (Theresa) and Peter Basla (Stephanie); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Jane, Lolly Lostumbo, Mary Ianzito (Basla) and Barbara Basla Czerow (Richard). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
