She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Blumberg and Marie Blumberg (McMahon); her husband William Scheibl; and her son Brian E. Rhodes. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Rhodes (Deborah), Ellen Scarandino (Chad) and Maureen Ann Rhodes; and her siblings, Steven Blumberg (Brenda), Barbara Ostipkwo (Andy), Diane Bennett (Steven) and Marie Grant (Rob). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and a cousin.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kate's memory can be made to Hospice of CNY or Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
