He was predeceased by: his father John Carapella; his wife Noreen Carapella (Neaterour); and his siblings, Jennie, Virginia, Angela, Michael and Annie.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Topka (Brian), Donald (Candace Edwards) and Dominick J. Carapella; his granddaughter Holly Tyszczenko (Andreas); his great grandchildren, Joseph, Liam and Sergio Tyszczenko; his sister Grace Swanka; and his pet Teddy. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
