He is survived by: his children, Luise Lane and Catherine Gross; his children-in-law, Jeffrey Lane and Thomas Gross; his grandsons, Jason Lane, Andrew Lane and Marc Cheshire; his great grandchild Lillian Jing Lane; his granddaughter-in-law Kathy Tang Lane; and his siblings, Hildegard Nowak, Herbert Plut, Werner Plut and Helmut Plut. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
