She was predeceased by: her husband Theodore J. Wells; her parents, Frederick Backeheld and Sophie Terjesen Backeheld; and her daughter Elizabeth Thompkins. She is survived by: her children, Lynn Skidmore and Louis Skidmore; and her stepdaughter Karen Minick (Mark).
