With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sophie Caliel of Lansing, New York, who passed away on April 8, 2022 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Abraham Caliel and Frieda Solomon Caliel; and her siblings, Mary George, Nancy MacDougal, Julia Mike, Catherine Mike, Abraham Caliel (Cal), Robert Caliel and Fred Caliel.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Lori Mike, Cathy Bennett, Collette Hayes, Julie Boney, Julie Boles, Marion George, Jack Mike, Michael Caliel, Scott Caliel and Mark Caliel; and her sisters-in-law, Marlene Caliel, Linda Caliel and Maryann Caliel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. George Orthodox Church, 30 Myers Heights, Lansing, NY 14882.
