It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph C. Campanella of Lansing, New York, born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on May 16, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Campanella and Mildred Campanella (Hantz). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Campanella; his children, Shannon Bell (Donnie) and Joey Ettinger (Lisa); his grandchildren, Samantha, Emily, Stephanie and LJ; his siblings, Chuck Campanella (Cindy), Mary Campanella and Judy Campanella; and his nephews, Jason, Joe, Zach and Josh Campanella. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks those who would like to make a contribution in Joe's memory to kindly consider the SPCA of Tompkins County or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
