He is survived by: his wife Joan Shortle; his daughters, Cassandra (Robert Gaylor), Allegra (Jesse Lloyd) and Johannah (Mark Alo); his grandchildren, Dorian Lloyd, Taavo Gaylor and Elora Alo; and his siblings, Sylvia Bergen, David Shortle (Carole) and Margie Shortle (John).
