It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Ann Krakowiak of Lancaster, New York, who passed away on August 28, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley A. Krakowiak; and her brother Paul Szalay. She is survived by: her children, Mary Theresa Vanouse (Donald) of Oswego, NY, Michael Krakowiak (Kathleen) of Lancaster, NY, Arthur Krakowiak of Hamburg, NY, Karen Eberhardt of Depew, NY and Pamela Jean Krakowiak of West Seneca, NY.; and her siblings, Margaret Preston of Elma, NY, John Szalay (Margaret), Joseph Szalay (Joyce) and Ann Agen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In retirement she was an RSVP volunteer at West Seneca Senior Center, donating hundreds of quilts and angel pockets to hospitals and nursing homes.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to John R. Oishei Children's Hospital Neo-Natal Unit.
