He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Vriesen and Marian Vriesen. He is survived by: his wife Myrna Vriesen; his children, Sandy, Daniel (Susan), Donald (Marianne) and Steven Vriesen (Judy); his grandchildren, Jeremy (Anne), Jimm, Charlotte and Ashleigh; his great grandchild Felix; and his siblings, Marian Kimball (Ron), John, Alma and Francis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
