It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley F Balcom of Lake Katrine, New York, born in Margaretville, New York, who passed away on December 4, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank W. Balcom and Mildred Balcom (O'Brien); his daughter Penny Balcom Harden; and his siblings, Geraldine Balcom Hoiser, Marjorie Balcom, Carson Balcom and Richard Balcom.
He is survived by: his close friend Pearl Loucks of Lake Katrine, N. Y; his sister Diana Balcom Miner of Central Point; and his children, Stanley Balcom, Jr. of Minooka, Pollyanna Balcom Mower of Catskill, N. Y., Molly Jean Balcom Snyder of Winchester, VA., Franklin Balcom of Kingston, N. Y., Pamela Balcom Richardson of Saugerties, N. Y. and Douglas Balcom of Saugerties, N. Y. He is also survived by Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
