She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Zigrest and Hazel Bunten; her husbands, Norman Platzner and Robert Sickler; her daughter Gail M. Bennett; and her brothers, Fred Zigrest, Jr., Robert Zigrest and Kenneth Zigrest.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Bruck of Kingston, Alvin Clark (Joann) of Bethpage, NY, Paul Connelly (Kate) of Kingston, William Connelly (Beverly) of Carolina, Barbara Marcello (Michael) of Wappingers Fall, NY and Kay Tresaloni (John Martino) of Kingston; and her half-sisters, Helen Johnson and Sherrie Canatta. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
