She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Cindy, Tina, Charles, Merlynn, Timothy, David, Peter and Schenectady of New York; and her grandchildren, James, Grant, Phoebe, Charles, Theodore, Tyler, Meryl, Kai, Mia, Coltrane and Hela.
She served as president of both the Schenectady Arts Council and the Albany League of Arts, and was cited in 1987 for her "significant individual contributions to the cultural life of the city and surrounding communities.".
