It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freda Strokes (Kingston, New York), who passed away on August 20, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Boice and Nellie Boice (Hofmann); her spouse Melford A. Strokes Jr.; and her siblings, George "Bill", Charles, Paul, Philip, Stanley Boice, Inez Wood and Ellen Kirchner.
She is survived by: her children, Valerie of Kingston, Freda D. of Kingston, Cindy of Kingston and Melford C "Manny" (Tina) of Mt Marion; and her grandchildren, Megan Macedonia (Michael) of Peekskill, Jonathan Keefe and Joshua Keefe of Kingston.
