She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jack Gold and Mary Lou Baffa; her boyfriend Kelvin VanDemark of Hurley, NY; her children, Amanda Rueby (Thomas) and Kristopher Cherny (Alicia); her brother Thomas Cahill (Linda); and her grandchildren, Harlow and Mila. She was also cherished by step-siblings, nieces, great-nephews.
