She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick Dupre; her parents, Ralph J. Howard and Ethel May McNeal Howard; and her siblings, Ivan "Bud" Howard, Ralph J. Howard, Clayton Howard, Sybil Howard Casey, Florence "Peg" Howard Dykeman Day, Dorothy Howard and Audrey Howard Baldwin.

She is survived by: her brother Melvin J. Howard.

In lieu of flowers and because of her ministry to children, memorial gifts in her honor may be made to the Stanfordville Baptist Church gym renovation project.
