She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Shoemaker and Sophie Shoemaker of Exeter, PA; her sister Rosalie Ferrara; and her brother-in-law Samuel Ferrara. She is survived by: her husband Edward Helinski; her son Ken Helinski (Larissa Molina); her granddaughters, Mina and Kara; her sister Jeanne Barnhart (William); and her nieces, Anne Marie Benson, Allison Wimms (James) and Hannah Viers (Zack).
