With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Floria Helbig (Islip, New York), who passed away on January 6, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond; her parents, Katherine Sr and James Poro Sr.; and her sibling Betty Speiss. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Cascone (Al) and Allan Helbig; her grandchildren, Sharon (Dana), Joseph (June), Peter (Michelle), Elizabeth (Kate), Matthew (Evelyn), Courtney and Stephen (Jeannie); her great grandchildren, Sean, Tom, James, Jacob, Zoe, Arlo, Hugh, Harrison, Howard and Eleri; and her siblings, Jim Poro and Kay Erwood.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to St. Mark's Episcopal Church would be appreciated.
