He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Porter and Delores Vedder Porter. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betti" Stevens Porter; and his children, Shawn Grube (Mindy), Doug Porter and Carrie Potts-Porter. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
