She was predeceased by: her parent Harry Hoar; and her siblings, Harold, Clarence, Warren and Marie.

She is survived by: her parent Rosine Hoar (Guerin); her husband John Swanson Jr.; her children, John Swanson III (Josephine), Christine Swanson and David Swanson (Susan); her grandchildren, Janine, Matthew, Lydia, Mary, Kathleen and Benjamin; and her brother Willis Hoar. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
