He was predeceased by: his parents, Teofilia Zawalski and Salski; his wife Irene Joyce Mielcarski; his pets, Horse, Roxy, Dublin, Camille, Sophie and Tizzy; and his best buddies, Nick, Blackie and Mikey.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Kapolka and Edward of Oriskany; his son Christopher Zawalski; his daughter-in-law Mary Ann of Long Beach, California; his daughter Lisa Zawalski of Ilion; his nieces and nephews, Ken Zawalski, Dalton of Mexico, David (Julie), Gavin, Kelly, Carol (Joe Tauriello), Patricia (Jim McDerby), Linda (Tom O'Brien), Sharon (David Hemmes), Diane Vicik, Brenda (Bill Barlow) and Big; his uncles, Bob' of Texas, Kelly Zawalski (Susan) and Carl Gogol; and also Bob McKinley. He is also survived by numerous other nephews, nieces, cousins.
Our father was blessed with the aid and support of many along his challenging journey, who heroically gave of themselves with the treatment of his pancreatic cancer, especially during the Covid Pandemic.
