She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Brayton and Mary Brayton (Stacey); and her siblings, Earnest Brayton and Leatrice Osborne. She is survived by: her children, Randy (Jane) of Fayetteville, GA, David (Janet) of Myrtle Beach, Steven (Cyndi) of Myrtle Beach, Joann (Michael Perras) of Cape Cod and Scott (Joanne) of Auburndale, FL; her daughters-in-law, Carol and Angie; her sister Lenora Cochran of Charlotte, NC; and her grandchildren, Christine, Natalie, Elizabeth, Sarah, Daniel, Rachel, Shane and Madyson. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Shirley's wishes there are no calling hours and in lieu of flowers friends are asked to consider memorial donations to Catholic Charities 61 West St. Ilion, NY 13357.
