It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary L. McCumber (Ilion, New York), born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on February 11, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Patsy Calitri and Angelina Calitri (Camizzo); her husband Frederick C. McCumber; and her brothers, Joseph Calitri and Samuel Calitri.
She is survived by: her children, Bert McCumber (Carol), Kathryn Porter (Larry Barkley), Deborah LaVeck (Joseph), Frederick McCumber, Jr., Michael McCumber (Michelle), Stephen McCumber (Sheryl) and Angelina McCumber (Stephen Schenkenfel). She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made directly to her daughter, Deborah LaVeck, 3484 State Route 167, Little Falls, NY 13365, for the purpose of a special scholarship in Mary's name, to be set up to help girls going into military service.
