He is survived by: his children, Allison and Ronald Besides; his close friend Elaine "Chipper" Frasier of Richfield Springs; and his siblings, Arthur Karpowich of Richfield Springs and Rose Merrick of Mohawk. He is also survived by six grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
