He is survived by: his parents, Daniel Riesel (Mary) and Constance Birdsall (Hadsell); his wife Melissa Riesel; his sons, Jeffrey Riesel, Daniel Riesel and Brent Riesel; and his brothers, Peter Riesel and Christopher Lucas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
