She was predeceased by: her parents, Glendon Shipman and Ada Shipman (Colson); her husband Bill; and her siblings, Bruce, George Shipman and Annabelle Shipman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tamara "Tami" Heiland (Steven LaValley) of Herkimer and Laurie Heiland-Crouch (James) of Ilion; her grandchildren, Christina Pafumi (Larry) of Maine, William Bellstedt of Herkimer, Janelle Crouch-Murray (Seamus) of Syracuse and Karl Rice of Frankfort; her great grandchildren, Syd Williams of Maine, Allison Bellstedt of Kentucky, Dana Rice and Charlotte Rice of Ilion; and her sister Luella Harper of Ilion. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
