He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Hartmann and Doris Hartmann (Hartleb); and his grandson Axel James Hartmann. He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie (Bumbolo); his children, Robert (Mary Hartmann), Daniel Hartmann (Connecticut), James (Bree Hartmann) of Oswego, NY and Jennifer (Shawn Walrath) of Ilion, NY; his grandchildren, Olivia, Avella, Zoey, Cooper Hartmann, Sascha (Ashley Congdon), Seth Colangelo and Adam Walrath; and his siblings, Kurt (Maureen) and Mary (Joseph Baggetta). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
