She was predeceased by: her parents, H. Stewart Fay and Ellen Footherape Fay; her grandson Beau Ripley; her siblings, Margaret Ainslie, Robert Fay and William Fay; and her mothers-in-law, Audrey Sorenson and Patty Esford.
She is survived by: her husband William Slocum; her children, Allan Slocum (Karen) of Wakeforest, NC and Margaret (Charles Haggerty) of Herkimer; and her grandchildren, Michele Slocum, Amy Leventry, Alexis Ripley-Slocum, Derek Brewer, Mouna Leder, Devon, Rick Rappa, Chas, Jamie Haggerty, Cory Haggerty and Caitlin Haggerty. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dorothy's memory may be made to St. Augustine's Episcopal Church, 78 Second St. Ilion, NY 13357.
