She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Tompkins and Susan Mitchell Tompkins; her son Edward, Sr.; her sisters, Susan, Anne and Marjorie; and her grandson Edward Jr..
She is survived by: her siblings, Lillian, Roberta and Robert Jr.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
